Aurecon’s information communication technologies (ICT) team has been awarded a position on the Engineering Services Consultants Panel (ESCP) for New Zealand’s largest communications company, Telecom, (Chorus) following submission of a standout proposal and committed client relationship efforts.

The position on the Chorus ESCP will involve the delivery of design and technical advisory related services across Chorus’ business, including all mobile, fixed line, fibre, exchanges, data centres and commercial property throughout New Zealand.

Aurecon competed against strong local competition to secure a place on the panel. Telecom is one of New Zealand’s largest publicly listed companies, making Aurecon’s appointment to the ESCP to provide a range of engineering consultancy services a significant achievement. This places Aurecon at the forefront of the ICT and Telecommunications industry in New Zealand.

Aurecon’s approach and ultimate appointment was based on innovations and new ideas we proposed to Chorus. On announcing the win, Chorus commented that Aurecon’s proposal and approach were outstanding, demonstrating an ability to engage with them at the highest level by understanding their business drivers and taking a “what’s best for client and project” view.
